I really enjoy this forum in the winter because I love being able to think and talk about ponds when I can't be outside enjoying mine. I thought I would help others get through the lousy weather with some pictures from one of the pond tours I took a couple of years ago. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing!

I love going on pond tours. We've gotten so many great ideas about pond design, fish, aquatic plants, and landscaping from seeing other ponds and talking to other pond owners - who, by the way, are without exception some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Which they would have to be to stand by all weekend and let strangers trample through their yard!

I love the first one, especially the big foot & little bridge in it, the beach in the 6th pic, and the last one I think reminds us you can have a full beautiful pond even in a small space.

I love the one with the bridge over the stream .It reminds me of what I would like to do instead of a pond

Beautiful ponds! And, I checked your out, too...nice! How would I go about finding out about pond tours in my area? I Googled Pond Tours 18360, but didn't come up with anything.

How would I go about finding out about pond tours in my area?

If you have any pond stores, pond builders, or garden centers in your area that carry pond supplies, they would be a good resource. Or start a post here asking if anyone knows of a pond tour in your area! Or come to the Chicagoland area any weekend all summer long - we have a variety of tours to choose from.

Pond tours are THE BEST!
