Koi can get over 3 ft long .I have watched videos of some koi on you tube and amazed .I do not feed my koi growth food because of that reason .But koi breeders want them large .Mine are around 2 feet long
I really like your pond. The top border is what I have been thinking about with my pond I am planning. How is the cedar holding up? Did you treat it in any way?
