this is the video wanted to post but couldnt till now...i tried 20 times earlier today, the upload kept failing.
the pond is 12200 gals .. the water is 28" deep ...not bad for a simple diy filter and a 1200gph pump

I am dreaming for water that clear. I think your lilys look awesome. Atleast they are shading your pond.
Very nice!

thanks 3qtkidz...no U.V running just my pump and filter...notice theres virtually no blanketweed or string alge either? you gotta love it when a filtration system works, especially when you design and build it!!

My string algae this year lasted about 10 weeks and was pretty thick. I had to pull my pumps 3 times to clear them. Fortunately, it only takes a few minutes to do it with submersibles and you are back in action.

My koi generally spwan in it and I have to pull the algae with eggs out to put them into the hatcheries. It is a mess but works out ok.

thanx PS3 it actually doesnt look as good as last year even. i just havent had any funds to put into it... plants arent doing as well inside or outside the pond...we had some weird weather this year and i screwed up by splitting my plants alittle late also. and i need to clean up all the stone and gravel mess on the floor of the pond from the idiots spawning.
