Hello all. I am new to this site. I am looking to put a pondless waterfall in this area with a few bubbling rocks on the sides. The previous owner had a Rubbermaid tub in the ground and a water hose that looked like someone was "pissing" out of the rock wall......

Welcome sbeason! Are you seeking advice on how to replace what you have or are you going to do the project and show us the results?

I will be doing the build myself. I will get the supplies and rock and get going on this transformation of the area.

I have looked at the Basalt Kits.....a set of 3 is $900-$1,200 with everything you need. I am looking at two drilled rocks, way more natural looking that each weigh 100-200 pounds to have one on each side of the waterfall features. The matrix/basin will be 30" x 54".

Update. The hole for the pondless waterfall has been dug out. Most of the needed items have arrived for building this. The Fastfall, 3 Large Aquablox, the pump well, the pump. I also picked up two super heavy black granite drilled rock for the bubblers.

I am still waiting for the 10x15 45mill liner and underlayment to arrive(on schedule for today) and the 3 LED lights. Off to local landscaping place to get rock for the waterfall.

Backfilled sand and topsoil and stamped it down. Got the layout run for the 1.5" pipe/hose to waterfall. Still have some more to do with the waterfall on the left. Just building up the elevation of it for now.

These two black granite bubblers were not easy to move to this point.....thankfully I had a 300 pound 2 wheel dolly to move them around. The front one is 200 pounds and the back one is 280 pounds. Monday I will get the rock to cover the top of the reservoir and some more boulders for the outside edge. Tomorrow is a get on the lake day....provided it doesn't rain.

Update #2. Got most of the area laid out, plumbing completed and now filling in the rock. I also have my waterfall foam now and will begin sealing around the waterfall steps. The waterfall comes in from the left and will fall about 4 inches into the reservoir below at the bottom. Planning to put shade plants on the top where the white pvc pipe is run for the waterfall once I fill it with more dirt.
