First time using a pond vacuum and no complaints. It does what it says it will do....i left the net off my 2000g pond over the winter so i had quite a few leaves and sludge build up. The pondovac 4 sucked up rocks, dirt, leaves, and sludge with no problems and drained it into my lawn. i elevated the vac about 2 feet off the ground and drainage was a breeze. Cleanup of the vacuum was easy, and look forward to using it again when needed. Price was a bit high at the $315 mark, but after the first use, im glad i bought it.

neat, I would use a vac, but don't want to suck up the critters.
