Our little bucks antlers are growing. And say goodbye to over 50 day Lily flower buds.

there's only so many hours in a day ducky :sneaky: just don't let them munch on your new lotus, I can't wait to see them!

Looks like deer salad to me
Yep!

A mom is putting her twins in our back field so she can eat.

They have so far, not bothered the lotus. They do drink out of the tub. they never have eaten a bud.

Now lilies, they snack on them. Love the pads.

Lately the deer have been stopping for a snack quite often and so it was not too surprising that when the pond camera captured the owl taking a bath this morning, that there were deer parading behind the pond too. She did something a little different afterwards though, she normally tucks under a leafy branch in the shade to sleep but today she sat on top of it to sun herself. Maybe to dry off? She eventually wandered deeper into the trees to snooze and the deer gave up and went to bed too. Won't be long though and someone will get hungry again.

We have a lot of them, can always hearing them calling. They live in our undisturbed back woods.

Fly in to attempt a bird, frog etc grab.

Just had an amazing moment! This hawk got one of the rabbits in my yard, and then flew up onto a low tree branch at the edge of my neighbor's yard. I ended up getting within 30 feet of it, but didn't want to scare it away so I left it alone after getting some photos.
