A patent application was submitted recently to the U.S. Patent Office for a CyHV3 (KHV) vaccine. This vaccine apparently differs from previous vaccines in that it claims to be effective for ANY size Cyprinus carpio (Koi) including fingerlings. This is a major advance over previous vaccine attempts.
Now we wait and see if this is ever available to hobbyist at an affordable cost.
