Many of us in the koi world use a product that goes by the name of propolis
So what is Propolis , well first off propolis is natural substance collected by bees from buds and trees.
Its makeup is that of tree resin, essential oils waxes and bioflavonoids.
What are bioflavoniods... ?...Well they are one of the most important components in propolis why ?...because of the antitoxident effects of these self same bioflavonoids and help the bees run a health hive and its because of these magical...

Very interesting Dave, I had no idea this was something you could buy at the local health food store. Next time I go in to buy clove oil I will look for it.
Yes you can make a killing for instance on propols spray at £5.50 uk over the £16.00 uk charged by some.
Heres a great tip to remember, as its the only koi treatment that will cure your sore throat if you had one so go on spray your throat with it , both Val and I do .:happy:
It has a strange but pleasing taste :happy:
It also comes in Liquid form at roughly the same price as the spray;)

The bees glue their hives together with it,also fill all openings with it very sticky. We really have to work to get the hives apart.

I could scrape off bunches of it.
