Have set up a temporary tank for the fiss-kees while draining and cleaning the main tank.
40 liter temp tank
400 grams of fish
What recommended O2 flow rate in liters per minute?

Aquarium or pond fish?

Basically that’s a 10 gallon tank. We don’t usually measure our fish by weight, but by length, so how many and what kind of fish.

I have never heard of using pure oxygen, and I really don’t know if a “flow rate” can be calculated for this. Sounds like a lot of chemistry would be involved so as not to supersaturate the water. Basically, the oxygen that the fish use is that that is found at the water’s surface.

Thank you. I worried about excessive O2 so I ran 0.5 liters per minute for 30 minutes only. Had the fish back in their tank after 8 hours with no visible ill effect. Cheers. Dave
