When I look in forums & see a post on something under diy's (i.e. building bog pond filters), I feel like I am coming in during the middle of a conversation & am missing the initial info needed. Is there somewhere to go for the initial info needed that everyone seems to be discussing implementing and/or improving. Others mention being able to put a sticky on a thread...are they referring to saving it? I don't see any 'sticky' button. Are there any articles with step by step DIY's?
Am I missing something, like a place under a dropdown that gives more info? Feeling lost...

The best way to follow a thead, about a specific build issue etc is to start at the very beginning and read it. You can skim read to skip some of the general chat that always happens in threads.

Stickies are threads that the Admin has decided to make that thread stay at the beginning forum so it does not get loss.

When I want to save something I usually copy paste the web address as to where I am, then you just click that link and go back to it.
You can also share it with yourself, see the share icons below.

Welcome @QBee ! Is there a particular topic you were interested in? Frequently topics do start with everyone knowing a bit about the topic at hand, so some of the background may not be included.
