My friend has a pond that needs an air pump in it. He must run a cord with an air pump near the pond. I have to put the air pump in some type of plastic box. What kind of holes or air vents do I make in the box and does the cord and air pump plug go in this box? Thank you very much. RDK.

As a temporary fix, I put an cheap oil pan over the air pump, just up on a few rocks with one rock on top to keep it from blowing off. Have air flow, room for the electric cord. Been that way since spring..........my temp fix lol And it is not noticeable.
