The hummers here are still attacking the feeder and what flowers we have around, which in a way is a lot. Fall bloomers, aster, canna, golden rod, lots of golden rod, the bees love it.

The hummingbirds frequent the cardinal flowers in my rain garden, which catches the overflow from my pond system. I expected these plants to get about three feet high, but they were over five feet. Bees enjoyed them too. This fall I’m adding native hibiscus. Love the hummingbird!

I would love to keep a canna in the big but my prior experience shows they don’t come back here if not in the ground.

Same here, but I still plant them in my bog every year. They are relatively inexpensive to buy, so I just consider them an annual.

I don't find that they attract the hummingbirds though.

They are a annual here, I am going to attempt to save them over winter, but usually don't do well.

I don't find that they attract the hummingbirds though.

I have hummers eating from the cannas planted in pots on the deck.
