Hi Folks
I now have a 8 fish ( 3 gold fish 5 Koi ) in 10000 L outside pond
Pond is 2 years old, 2 Jebao pumps DCP15000 and 20000 running 3 filters ( Hozelock Bioforce 14000, OASE BioSmart 16000, and home made "gravity box" out of 50L barrel)
I found 1 koi dead under right side plants about 2 weeks back without any visible signs of parasites or backteria
1 koi died few days back with exactly same symptoms as the on in pics within few days
2 days ago the rash was just one spot about 1cm diameter in the middle of left side
I did quick water check with basic kit from pet store
i took her out and treated with Myxazin
Would you know from the pic what i am dealing with ?
I didnt have any small tank i could keep her in isolated from others so the big plastic box will have to do for now i have a air line going in and going to change the water tomorrow with new batch of Myxazin
PS: I treated the whole pond after the first fish with one round of Malachite Green

Because it’s likely a water issue, I would recommend getting a liquid water test kit rather than test strips. Let us know what the results are.
That’s exactly what I was going to suggest! Liquid tests tend to be more reliable. And poor water quality tends to be the main reason for fish illnesses.

Have you recently added any new fish?

Not necessarily. Some fish might have a healthier immune system than others (just like with people) and they might be more tolerant to stressors than other fish.

You have 260 us. gallons that is a starter tank for BABY koi. the rash is water quality issues. You appear to have all kinds of filtration but your missing what's needed the most VOLUME. 260 GALLONS IS EVEN TOO SMALL for mature goldfish

10000L is 2641 US gallons that should be enough for 10-15fish ?
The outer sides of the pond are 5.5x4.5m(18x15ft)
the inside bit with actual water is 3.5x3m(11.5x10ft) and at its deepest its 1.2m(4ft) its not perfectly rectangular etc so estimated around 10000L
