Hi, can anyone help! how to cure my koi.
My Koi is 4 years old about 19" long and he has those red spots, for about 2 weeks now. I'm not sure what it is? also is very hard for him to swim and has no appetite to eat. Water parameters are ok, I did the scrape and I didn't see anything moving under the microscope. Any advice Please.

Hello and welcome!

How big is your pond and how many fish do you have?

I don’t know anything about koi diseases, but we find that most problems start with water quality issues.

@TINA
I was gonna say to go on koiphen.com and ask them but I see you already did. Looks like little ulcers that could be caused by a lot of different issues. I think someone on koiphen will prolly know or give you some ideas.

@TINA I checked your post in KOIPHEN.com. He said it looked like possibly encysted juvenile anchor worms? Glad you checked over there because I never would have come up with that. All I could think of was measles, but that’s a people-disease. Will you be able to do the treatments they recommended?

Keep us posted, please!
