Hello. I'm working on replacing a pond liner in my front yard. The liner was done by the previous owner of the house and was mortared into a brick enclosure (5x5 1ft deep). I really hate having to rip all the bricks out again to get the new liner in there. Can anyone suggest anything else I'm not thinking of that might make my live easier while still making the pond look nice...? Thanks in advance!

looking at what youve got there. i would leave whats there, there.( maybe cut away the exposed existing liner). and put the new liner over the old. but i would get a liner big enough to reline the full depth of the enclosure, and simply recap the top of the walls ontop of the new liner. you'd have about twice the water volume. making the water chemistry more stable and any fish put in would greatly appreciate that.
