Hey all,

Firstly apologies for posting on this section as not sure where else to ask.

I need some feedback with regards pond water testers as think I need to change mines.
Currently using the strips....don't shout :p but would like to go for more reputable test kit so I can be sure my parameters are as required and not like 3 different shades of same colour.

Also I'm in the land of Fish and Chips so some test kits may not be available from blighty.

Thanks.

I like API, they have the fresh water test kit at Amazon UK, it’s #2. #8 looks nice, PondLab2000 but I don’t know anything about that one.
The important test are pH, ammonia, nitrite, (with an I) and KH.
Nitrate, GH maybe and phosphates but there is little you can do about phosphates.
I have a Nutrafin Test for iron, and seems like a nice brand. Also, Salifert seem like a nice brand that we can’t get here, but available there.
Here’s a link to the aquarium test kits ranked at Amazon UK.
