Very pretty seal and he prolly got confused and thought we were Alaska w/ all the snow we were getting, although I did not see any snow on that dock. That river mouth they are talking about is a nasty contaminated part and would not want any animal to spend too much time there or breed there at all. Don't know how much progress they've made in cleaning it up but I'd sure never want any fish from that area. Might end up w/ 2 heads or something...........the fish that is, not me,lol!

YOU THINK good gosh people would really be confused when she walks down the road and each head see's something she wants to take home as a treasure and her poor body does not know which way to go first

Wonder if more of those seals will be showing up around here w/ all the whacky weather everyone is having everywhere.

you know it is a funny thing in that story is that they don't say what happened to it ,if it was rescued or if it just left on it's own .very odd .Usually with a story like that you see a big rescue effort underway and nothing ,they just talk about how rare they are

They don't usually rescue animals here unless they look like they are ill or wounded in some way. I guess this guy just popped in for a rest on that dock and then took off after that never to be seen again. Beautiful animal!
