Roofing EPDM as substitute?

Hi,

Elevate PondGard liners (for use in a swim pond) seem very expensive. Any alternatives in UK/Europe that people have found at better rates?

I see roofing EPDM liners over 1mm that seem cheaper. Any reason not to use it?

THERE ARE SUBTILE DIFFERANCES IN THE MAKING OF PONDLINERS AND ROOFING. there are other options but they are less flexible and the design of your feature will determin if they are viable options. hdpe hdrpe ldpe

Not in UK but have bought mine at a roofing co. here in the U.S. Made from the same stuff as the pond store sold. EPDM 45 or 60 worked good for me.
