Congratulations on the forum. The first thing to apologize for my bad English. I am from Spain and I have come here because there is a lot of good information. Now I have a 270 gallon pond, two pumps, one solar and one electric, and a pressure filter. I control the electric pump via Wi-Fi, because I don't live all week where I have the pond and I have an automatic food dispenser. I attach some photos of how it is currently. In the future I intend to build a bigger one.

Now I am working on making this gargoyle a water fountain to have more surface movement.

Hello and welcome! You may not need to worry too much about the automatic feeder. Not only is it easy to overfeed (especially when you’re not there to monitor), but for the most part, goldfish can live off the algae and small organisms that live in the water. Many of us either don’t feed or feed infrequently.

Such a pretty pond! Love those fantails. Yep as said above feeding is not necessary for the times you are away. You would be surprised how much food they can find by themselves that comes near the pond water and all the algae they find. I did not feed my goldfish for years at all and they grew and even produced babies. Now I like to feed them now and then just for them to get to know who I am and they will come running to me when they see me now.

Welcome!

Very creative in making that gargoyle into a spitter/fountain.

A lot of people here make spitters out of many different things. Statues, old well hand pumps, rocks, etc. You are only limited to your imagination.

With a drill and a few fittings, you can accomplish what you want.

Don't forget to share when you complete your project!

Enjoy!

He recibido mi última compra, están chispeantes, intentaré usar una en la gárgola, si no me queda bien puedo conectar una manguera oculta y dejar que el chorro salga de las piedras.
