Rowboat pond.

I just purchased an 8 foot rowboat to make into a backyard pond with some goldfish. Do i need a filter system or would a solar fountain be adequate to circulate the water? Newbie here so any advise would be appreciated.

Would definitely recommend some sort of filter, however if you really loaded up the pond with plants, and only a few small fish you could get away with it.

Yes i think so or surround it with rocks.

Congrats on retirement. Some filtering would help keep the pond from getting too murky. have fun!

I like the idea. Inverse use of a boat!
I thought the water was supposed to be on the outside! Every boat I've ever owned was that way!
