5 clumps of them at the bottom of the goldfish pond. I guess they'll hatch when weather warms up some.
I envy you; wish I had some near me/in my pond. Love salamanders, even if the only ones I ever saw were in northern MI, and then, while overturning logs. Okay, just diminished my salamander egg desire...at least with the frogs, they'll make a daytime appearance once in a while!

Cool for you, though! Gonna make a timeline pictorial??? I'm sure popcorn would be made for that!

I have California Slender Salamanders (Batrachoseps attenuatus) in my garden. The live in damp areas, such as shaded garden beds and my compost pile. The don't need a pond or standing water to reproduce. They lay their eggs under damp rocks and mulch.
