I just discovered that I have two 50x50 pieces of liner, and I need one 50x100 piece. Then I need to seam a 20x100 piece onto that.

Before I waste $5,000 worth of liner, does anyone know if I can first seam together the two 50x50 pieces, and then seam the 20x100 piece onto that? Ie seam together three pieces rather than just two?

Not answer my own question, but EPDM roofing guys do what they call "T" seams all the time. There are a bunch of good videos of how to do it on the you toobs.

I don't see why not. They always say a good seam is as good as the material itself. You just need the space to lay it out flat so you can do it right - clean, dry and flat seems to be the formula.

Absolutely can, but here is the differance between them, "roofing" and ponding. tons of rock, while some epdm roofs are covered with a thin layer of rock to protect it from uv rays . in a pond if the pond leaks you maay wake up one moorning and find your fish dead, and you need to move tons of rock to find the leak.

here is link to seaming and steps above what we do in rooing , as a general contractor i have done a lot of epdm roofing, and this lin i made that i recomend seaming the seams. not only can this be done you can also seam both sides insuring you will never have an issue. one word of advice is to buy your glues from a very reputable supplier as the last thing you want it to buy primer and find it had froze and is half the product it should be.
