A few years ago I purchased seeds of the Mimosa Pudica which closes it's leaves when touched. I've always known there was an aquatic version Neptunia Olracea but can't find a place that sells them. Even near by water garden specialist don't carry them. http://www.pondsplantsandmore.com/Water_Sensitive_Plant_Neptunia_oleracea_p/pft_sensitive.htm

Preferably a Texas distributer. Even if I require them to be shipped cheaper is better. I must have these. These have been my dream plant for my water garden ever since I built my pond.

Tricker. I recently purchased some plants from them. As a "special," I got 2 extra, free plants. When my order arrived, I discovered that my 2 freebies were sensitive plants.

Do they do Paypal? I love the prices. I'm strictly Paypal so unless they do Paypal I can't order.

After you mention he was on Ebay I took a look. He's more expensive on Ebay. We wanted 23$ for 3 plants. one plant went for 14. Another seller has them for 7$ but unfortunatly it ends in 13 hours. Darn Ebay.
There are also a giant version that sells for 2 $. I've got an eagles eye on it.

Well I wound up getting the Mimosa Pudica (seeds) not an in water aquatic plant but a bog plant. As addy1 mentioned they are tropical. However I've bought a floating planter at Lowes. I can grow them in the pond like the Neptunia Oleracea but when it gets cold out it's not going to be to hard to move the planter to my room where I can spend more time with them. I've got temperature sensors in and around my pond so I will know when yo move them. Some time in the future I may get the Neptunia Oleracea. That's a mission.

When your plants get mature and you have to propagate them let me know if you would be intrested in trading.

The Mimosa and Neptunia both have similar plush ball flowers except the Mimosa's are pink/purple and the Neptunia's are Yellow. But since they are similar flowers. The Yellow and Violet will contrast nicely together among the varying shades of green. Both have identical leaves. Would be an intresting expariment.

The last time I grew Mimosa Pudica they sprouted with in a week after recieving and planting seeds. They're suppost to be here by Monday. I may have growing plants by next Saturday. I'll keep everyone posted.

Texas Water Lilies has the giant version; Aeschynomene fluitans. I have some in my pond and it is really neat.
i looked at them. Couldn't find any shipping info. I found out that many ask 10$ for shipping which is more than the plant. I wish more people believed in United States Postal Service. Cheaper and more reliable. UPS is usually late. I'm also considering the giants. But Ebay was cheaper. I only spent 3.45$ for both the seeds and shipping.

I've just started obtaining plants. Have placed about 4 or so orders from 2 different places. All shipped USPS, and the plants came by express mail (or whatever it's called, anyway, got here in 2 days). When I ordered from Tricker, I recalled reading something [it's a "busy" web site...] to the effect that they don't ship toward the end of the week. I placed my order the week before 4th of July, which was in the middle of the week this year. The plants never came, and I was just about to call them when it occured to me that they may have delayed shipping due to the holiday since it would mean the plants would be "sitting somewhere" longer than usual. Sure enough, they came the following week, I think shipped on Monday & arrived either Tues. or Wed.

Do they have a pretty good store, good selections, etc? Dallas is only about 3 hrs. away. Would be nice to see plants in person.
