Ya gotta stop and smell the roses sometimes sissy................or er..................sisters
Yeh I was surprised when she showed up and really enjoyed the rest but kept thinking in my mind what to do with the other the other pumps odd sized outlet .I could not find a hose to fit the other new pump .But had hoses I was fiddling with and finally got it all to fit the sump pump hose and actually fit over the 1000 gph pump outlet .So now both pumps are going and hopefully tomorrow will figure the rest out .Want to get that filter going .
Well glad you had a nice visit..............you can go back to ponding again tomorrow
can't wait .But I wait until the sun gets to the pond to go out and work on it .Wind has been rather strong here lately and chilly if you stand in the shade with that wind also
We have been windy here too Sissy, makes it hard to have the hands in that cold water.
You sound like me get going on something, work on it almost non stop until it is done.
Seems we never know when enough is enough.Got a lot done today because Sharon and i are going to the flea tomorrow and then a yard sale at tractor supply
Have lots of fun on your day off from hard labor sissy
I see you got your bridge back in place................nice!
bridge slide works every time .Well only part of the day off and then home to work on the pond .Want to get the bridge boards back on before weather changes sunday .Aerator going full blast and water outlet aboove to really aerate the water .
Your fish look comfy in their new pond. You getting a storm on Sunday sissy? Hope no snow!
That is why I wanted to get this part done ,not sure what this storm will bring .
They are saying snow for us Sissy
Looking very good Sissy!! GOOD JOB on all the hard work too!! The pond looks really big now too, fish look like they are inspecting every inch of new home, sure they are planning another nursery too! Lots of Baby fish by summer I would say!
laguna 45 aerator on ebay through wayfair 123.64 35 watts of power .Sold my other aerator because it was to small for my pond
a good way to really aerate your pond and see if that is what is causing your green water is a ball valve on a hose off your pump .if it starts to clear up in 1 or 2 days that is it.Restrict some of the flow of water coming out your ball valve by turning the knob to partially close it off to water flow and that aerates the water .
neat idea Sissy
Looks like your in the home stretch Sissy!
pond turned a little green and has not cycle yet .The weather is really making it hard .Hoping my new aerator comes today or tomorrow to help aerate the pond more .Thank you ,but now grass mowing season is on also .I fertilized my lawn and darn thing took off .Mowed the side yard yesterday .Deer ate a lot of my shrubs that are supposed to have green on them all winter so addy you are not the only one that has funny looking stuff growing in your yard .I guess it is there form of yarden art
I don't mind the green water as it will also help the good muck grow on the liner faster .Water temp is now at 55 degrees
april fools day pond .Hope new aerator gets here cheapest i could find it
yippee got my aerator and guess what fed ex guy has a pond too
