Hi to everyone, I've been enjoying reading this forum ,but have never posted anything. I've had a pond about 20 yrs. We just got board one day and started digging. It's about 3000 gal. 26x16 maybe 2 ft at the deep end. I wish it was deeper but ignorance is bliss. we put a cheap liner in , filled it up , . added minnows and plants, lots of plants. I was lucky to always have good clear water. In time I added large Koi, back when wal-mart sold large cheap ones. I lost the koi slowly to red shoulder hawks and herons. In the last year , I had a "pro" help me add a new liner, waterfalls and filtration. I still have clear water but find the technology giving me fits. It is home to one large fancy koi and 3 5 inch fat feeder goldfish.
