Skimmer Full of Fish

I have just put fish into my pond. Is there any harm in the fish going into the skimmer? There is a net between the fish and the pump and they do seem to get out, because I took out the backflow flap for them once they got in.

@Mmathis or Turtle Mommy as she is also known has a problem with her sjimmer too and is looking into ways to stop her fish from getting into it .

Depends on the size fish. Small fish may not have the strength to overcome the incoming force of the water flow. Larger fish, however, will think that it is a playground and swim in and out at will.
