smallest pond dimensions?

hello peeps,

newbie here with ponds..
i want to make a small pond in my front yard but the space is tiny small

estimate dimension would be:

2' x 3'

is this space possible or you guys are laughing at me now?

just trying to push my luck with the space..would love a small pond though.. hope to hear your feedback..

There is a round pre-formed pond out there that is 3 foot in size. 18 inches deep and has 3 plant shelves big enough for 3 pots. But I am sure that you can find one as small as you are looking for.
Or use a small liner and create your own.
A small pond can be quite nice.

Just remember to do everything in miniature, Plants, fish, all of it. They can be so charming in a cramped space. We never laugh at the idea of a new ponder, no matter how small you start out.

welcome...bigger is always better ... but smaller is doable...just like pond lady said smaller sized plants and fish...how deep would the pond be

but yes.. a nice pretty small pond is what i like..smaller to maintain too..

actually going smaller can work against you and sometimes be more to maintain...only because it is less water

I started with a tiny pond and loved it. It got bigger just about every year til it ended up being about 1400gal. I kept two small plants, a few feeder goldfish and a tiny statuary pump in it.
