Saw someone on this forum talking about their drink of choice and it got me wondering if there are more wine, beer, cocktails, bourbon or whiskey drinkers.

I prefer Woodford Reserve Bourbon but I also drink Makers Mark. Might be the KY boy in me.

Sort of depends on our mood, not a daily drinker at all but enjoy a good drink.

That reminds me I need to stock up on Yuengling when I go to SC later this month, they do not sell it here and it is one of my favorite beers.

I go in spurts, from crown royal to captain morgan, to vodka (bloody mary's).

Oh... and there's plenty of beer in between those three things.

Water, Mountain Dew, Tea, or Amp energy drink. Once in a while I breakdown and get a Mango Margarita, Silver Bullet beer and only with Hot Boiled crawfish or Baby Back ribs.
As you can tell, I'm not much of a drinker, I figure with all the half gallons of Tequila and Old Charter I drank as a teen and early 20's It will take the rest of my life for my body to catch back up. LOL

Once every few yrs I like a Tequila Sunset, mostly just drink water w/ lemon juice or plain water or a diet pop. Drank when younger, just got tired of the hang overs and craziness that went w/ it

My Dad was a alcoholic and I said I never wanted to put my kids through that. I also lost my fiance' to drinking and driving and ended up raising her daughter. My best friend in High school was run over by a drunk driver, and I watch another good friend fall from a second story balcony on Bourbon street while drunk and was crippled the rest of his life. After all that and like JW said the hang overs and the craziness I didn't like catching that buzz anymore.

I don't know if my dad was an alcoholic for sure but my parents drank and had parties every week-end and sometimes he got into knock down drag outs w/ friends on the front lawn. They let my friends and I mix drinks for them and serve them. My dad was in the Navy for 20yrs and also he grew up in Tennessee and ran jars of moonshine for the guys making it. Gosh I hated it when they got so drunk like that. I used to hide under the covers of my bed when I was really young. That stuff is scary for kids and we didn't want our kids to go through that either.
