I just got a call from the person who brought me the 5 turtles and they were able to give me the address and other info so I can spread their info to pet stores and other rescues to prevent them from ever getting another pet of any kind. Also they were able to report the incident to the police anonymously and the police have agreed to pursuit criminal charges against for 5 counts animal cruelty and violation of GA-DOH code. I just hope I never meet the people who did this to these innocent creatures because I would probably lose it. Anyway I hope they get the maximum available punishment for it.
