Spider Web Anchored to the Water

[HTH]

This is a bit hard to see so I will post 2 images. The spider has made, or made use of, a raft on the water for one anchor for its web. The other attachment points are on the edges of the container and the metal frame. No idea what sort of spider it is.

I get them once in awhile but hard to get a good pic of them unless you shine a light on the web

Neat The spiders love the net over the pond, they are weaving away. The dragon flies like it too, great resting spot for them

My dragonflies have been laying eggs in the pond. Its neat they find a lily leaf and tap, tap, tap, their bottoms on it and you can see these little tiny dots almost gray color.

I spot those eggs on the leaves, any with eggs does not get groomed. It is fun to watch them.

Im not sure how long they live after they mate. Kinda sad! :frown:
