Hi
I opened my filter in order to clean the sponges.(I think it is a pressurised one--looks like a barrel).
There are 5 of them : three fine and two coarse.
I can't remember the order : Are the fine sponges on the bottom and the course ones above them ?
(They are all hooked on a cylindrical wire mesh plastic sleeve).

Thanks.

What is the brand of your filter? You can probably Google that online and look at the instructions.

It's an Italian brand--tried to look it up.
I guess the setup of the sponges is something which would be the same for all filters, were the sponges are arranged in sequence, one on top of the other
.

I would guess the coarse first then the fine filters. The coarse get the big junk then the fine get the small junk. If the big junk hit the fine first they would clog up faster.
