Spontaneous appearance of crawfish?

New random spontaneously appearing pond critter… crayfish, crawfish, crawdad… who knew?!?

Looks like a damselfly nymph to me.

Agreed that's no crustation that would be a damsel fly or a dragon fly by the size I'd go for dragon. And what ever you do don't kill it they can east thousands of mosquitos in a day

The three external gills on the end of its abdomen are indicative of damselfly.
