Hi,
I have a large steel tank (not stainless) which I am thinking of sinking into the ground and use to keep a few fish in. I have sorted it out so is has shallows ( about 1" deep and it goes down to a depth of about 4'. it is likely to rust a little. Should I put a pvc or rubber liner in it?

thanks

Thanks for the advice - I'm off to theaquatic centre as we speak. :)
Welcome "oleluke" do you live anywhere near the villiage of Hallerton where they have that quaint custom of "bottle kicking" ?
Where the whole village plays some mad game with a flagon of ale against other villages "anything goes"........
I was going to say yes I concure with everyone but a word of warning personally I would find some old carpet then cover the steel to give the liner protection against it getting punctured ;)

use the steel for a veggie garden or flower garden or water plant garden they would all work and compliment the pond
