well rubber mades are tried and tested and perform well.. the biggest difference i know of is the rubbermades have the shelves molded in for setting your grids on. the other ones dont but thats an easy problem to solve.and the rubbermades seem to be a little thicker(sturdier) walled..but even my rubbermade i drain and lid it for the winter.

Went to Tractor supply company today they had a 100 gallon rubbermaid stock tank for 69.99 and had 4 or 5 in stock. i have a 10% off coupon too so it will be around 62 dollars  I cannot wait for the snow to leave and start working on my pond. BTW i got a stock tank de-icer from there at the beginning of winter and it is a thermostatically controlled one it was 25 dollars and i have not had any ice at all on my pond and we had a few really cold and windy days

i was going to stack rocks up and have a 2 1/2 " pvc pipe coming out to a pvc pipe with many small and several large holes drilled in it to split the water as it will be going into a stream and i wanted it to diffuse, but i do like the way you did yours have any pictures of how you made the WEIR portion of the outlet
