Stress Coat vs Prime

The water i have available to top off my sysyem has been chlorinated. I noticed stress coat has dechlorinator in it. Is stress coat enough of a dechlorinator to use before adding chlorinated water to a small pond or is it nevessary to use “prime” as well? Thank you guys!

Stress Coat will be fine. Do you have special circumstances besides the chlorine? I've used it in the past without an issue.

I like Prime. It dechlorinates, also protects against chloramines and binds ammonia. It's expensive, but a little goes a long way.

id not add both . stress coat also has aloe for slime retention or help to rebuild it .

no just municipal water, until the rains come again and we can use the well.

Either should be fine. With prime it’s true that a little goes a long way.
