I got trapdoor snails for the first time this year. I haven't seen them since spring (the water is a little murky :meh:). I was rinsing filters and the pump and found one stuck to the intake opening of the pump. I tried to pull him out assuming he got sucked in inadvertently, but that guy was slurped onto that pump!! I assume he wants to be there? I could see nice white soft snail parts inside the shell. Is he going to be oK? I assume if the pump killed him, he would come off easily?

They stick themselves pretty good, I have worked a few loose by wiggling them until you break the suction.
