Clouds here too and only a point and shoot camera even if I could see it. The moon looked pretty cool last night too!

After taking about 200 photos, swapping lenses, changing settings on the camera a few dozen times. Finding a place I didn't get other light reflections, Swapping around UV filters, I finally got a few good shots in between clouds, most just appeared to be a bright blur! These two were taken about an hour and a half apart. The Blue was actually taken with no UV filter. Looked to blue for what I actually saw. The second pic was taken with the dark UV filter and it's brighter and more orange than I was seeing. Lot more challenging that I thought it would be.

;) Show off! Just kidding! Great shots!

Even being out in nature (Boy Scout summer camp), the view for me wasn't that spectacular. Now, the previous "super moon," (was also at a BS campout), the moon at that time REALLY DID seem bigger and closer. It was a Magical Moon!
