Frogs seem to absolutely love our new pond, the issue we are having is that we get tons of tadpole eggs every 2 weeks (almost like on a schedule). A day or two after they lay the eggs, we get a lot of green algae, and it is extremely hard to control it. Prior to this happening (x4 times now), we were able to control the algae. We are wondering if there is anything we can do about this.

I suspect the surplus of the male “contribution “ might be causing the spike. Test the water next time, see if you notice a spike in anything, ph, nitrogen, that could be indicative of a change.
