I know I struggle when our cousins across the pond talk farenhieght and not celcius , so to get rid of any future hickups when it comes to either temperature which ever you use I've put in a Temperature conversion list .
I really hope everyone who is unsure will use this list in the future which is correct down to 0c or 32f

Dave

Mitch In reality I find the celcius far easier Mitch Farenheit is just too dam fiddley for me though I have used it before whilst in the Navy to report temperatures .
Thats when I decided on celcius a being the easier one of the two, did you know there is a third way of measuring temperature by an english man but for the life of me I cant remember who he is or what they call his measurements ?

Are you thinking of the Kelvin temperature scale?

I remember when Canada changed over to metric, gas looked really cheap the next day - $0.16/liter. Gas is about $1.80 now.
Farenheit has more increments so that you can fine tune your house temperature more, but I'm happy with either way.
Cooking is eaisier with metric.
Calculating the slope on a roof? Not so much.
It didn't affect my driving, I still speed. (a little)

Still seems a bit high, doesn't it? I came across an old note pad recently, where I had kept track of my gas useage and mileage back in the early 70's. Most fill-ups were less than $5.00, gas as low as 39 cents a GALLON! (y)

I would like someone to explain to me how bottled water can be more expensive than something as refined and regulated as gasoline.o_O
I need to shake my cane at someone.
