Well my little pond is finished. It is not very big. It gets 6+ hours a day of bright summer sun. The water turned...well not a very nice color; green mud. I was ready to buy "UV filters for Dummies."

But I keep reading the forum. Put in lots of plants! Don't clean the Bio-Falls, let it alone! Use quilt batting! Don't overfeed the fish!

So I bought the plants, did not touch the filter, used quilt batting in the skimmer box changing it twice a day and put the fish on a diet.

My water is sparkling clear. My six fish are happy I have a nice backyard water feature.

I think I will buy a little bench so I can sit and read by my pond.

Thanks,

Rich

Way to go! Glad people here were able to help you get your pond to a happy place. It sure is looking very nice. Get a comfy bench feet up, pillow, little drink table, enjoy!
