Last year I tried lotus for the first time from seed. I started off with 3 seeds. 2 survived the summer and while I got no blossoms I was treated to lovely blue/green leaves all summer. I posted several "newbie" questions and was blessed with the wise words of some many of you!

Well, my 2 surviving plants are doing AWESOME. They slept soundly all winter, woke in the spring and have treated me to my first blossom with 4 new buds swelling as I type these words!

I would NEVER have figured it out with the big brains on this board.
