I hope it works!
This is an area in my back side yard for my Ducks and Geese. I placed old carpet padding under liner first. I bought a used 45' x 14' Billboard to use as a liner. Dug shelves for easy in and out access. It's going to be a very large project for me, so it will take some time. I didn't set the a pump in yet. I need lots of gravel and rock. Landscape will have to be very creative as the Geese eat just about everything.

Looks like it will be a great place for your ducks and geese. What is the billboard made from? I could tell without looking at your location that you were down South...all that red dirt.
