Woke up to some very lively fish while noticing the influx of frogs. Spring is right around the corner!! Can't wait!!

Aww the toads! Mine have not started yet, they always come first.

I am getting the snake traps out, they will be showing up again soon.

Our wood frogs showed up to do their thing over a month ago. SO many this year! The amount of eggs (now tadpoles) is incredible.

Then the toads descended on us a couple weeks ago. They've sung their songs, deposited loads of eggs & moved on now.

Spring is in full bloom around my house/yard/pond!

Our tree frogs come after the toads, then the green frogs. The green frogs seem to wait until, may junish.

lol we are 28f, but it has been a darn over all warm winter. Bugs are out like crazy already.

I am praying for another deep freeze . Need to kill the ticks. they have been insane already around here I have been bit 5 times in February alone. I HATE T I C K S

Get you some guinea hens @GBBUDD - add to the ambiance and the love a good tick snack!
mY NEIGHBOR GOT A FLOCK OF THOSE THINGS LETS JUST SAY I LET IT BE KNOWN THEY WERE NOT WELCOME. We are on city lots here not out in the country.

The roman empire used those instead of dogs to warn them of incoming danger
