I'm pumping from a 10,000G pond to the bog filter. In between will be two 55G settlement tanks.
What do you think, should I put in a mesh filter before the bog filter to catch any larger debris that makes it past the settlement tanks? In theory it would be easier to clean and prevent any damage to the plants if I have to flush the bog.
Or would it do more harm than good?
