We had such a warm day here in Plymouth that Val and I decided to clean up a bit around the pond then let some sun in the pond after we took the covers off the pond.
All the Koi were present and accounted for hey got a day in the sun and with the pond temperature at 10c it wont be long before we feed our koi for the first time this year .
All our koi have come through the winter months in A1 condition which we are more than pleased about .
Our latest koi the Asagi has really changed since last year and we have high hopes for it at our annual show this summer along with other yearlings .
Its not quite the right temperature to feed our koi yet but once we are over this cold spell mostly night times then the temperature should keep on edging up, .
So the covers can come off in the day time but will have to go back on again at night time just for the time being....

9 celsius?? We should BE so lucky! Pond still iced over (or is that AGAIN?) Won't be feeding mine for AT LEAST another month. :( Enjoy your lovely weather.
John

Actually, the weatherman is calling for 18 C tomorrow, but only for one day, then back to the deepfreeze! :cold:
