Cool sissy. Do you guys that have those big snails ever worry about stepping on them while working in your ponds?

Nah so far have not hurt any. you can shuffle you feet to sort of push them out of the way. They tend to stay in the deep end, where I don't walk.

I have stepped on a few, they don't break easy. Trouble is when you step on one you jerk your foot off, then almost fall on butt.

thinking about falling on your butt in the pond and kinda get soaking wet .Bad enough your half wet but you will then be all wet and have to search your clothes for hidden fish .

Oh yes been there done that but no snails yet so none stuck to my butt .I can't wait to get my snails .I am hoping they don't get snow in Greenville VA because that is where I have to go to get them >I already heard from Tish from springdale garden ponds .She e-mailed me that they have some over 2 inches big and sent pics .Sounds great to me .The guy on E-bay for some reason blocked me from buying them from him and I don't know why .But think it is unfair .

The add said sizes from x to xxx, and you told him you had koi, he implies that you will get big ones, but the add says different. So he didn't want to sell you the mix they send i.e. all different sizes with just a few big ones.

Yeh I did see that in the ad but it was still a good price because I have a large fishtank I could keep them in for the winter The one I am over winter hyacinth in with the light on top .I think he is being very unfair to say I can't buy them .I clicked on buy me and it just pops up that he refuses to sell to me so his lose .I will get bigger ones and nicer ones I hope and a nice little trip as this place is in the Shannondoah valley .It is a big garden pond center .
