Wanting to set up a tropical tank in my living room, have been looking at an aquanano 80 (130L)

My main questions are is there anyone who has had any experience with the tank or if there is anytging better for my money ( around £280)

Thanks!

I don't have experience with that specific tank, but for that size I favour glass manufacture over acrylic.
I have a larger acrylic tank 2271L (600g) and prefer acrylic in my instance because of the lesser weight and viewing clarity over a similar sized glass tank.

Yeah i believe it is glass, just seems theres a huge jump between the tiny nano tanks and the bigger tanks

Just a few varieties of community fish, i think, nothing too challenging to start as have little experience with tropicals!

I recommend that you pick up a copy of a few different magazines and see if anything in there appeals to you.
I can recommend the following:
http://www.tfhmagazine.com
https://www.amazonasmagazine.com/contact-amazonas-magazine/

and a UK based one:
https://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk

I've had subscriptions to them all in the past.
You have a better selection of equipment and suppliers than I do.

Once you see something you like, you have a lot of great suppliers over there that can help you.
(plus we can help you here, of course)

.
