So I started up a lotus seedling two weeks ago in case mine from last year doesn’t make it since it seems to be having a rough time. However, I noticed a difference in their starting leaves. My older one had plain light green leaves, but the newer one has some kind of purplish tint to the leaf and a few pronounced purple dots. I bought the seeds two years ago off of Amazon and they shipped from China, arriving in a single bag labeled “Dwarf Lotus”. I attached pictures to show the comparison. Does anyone have an idea if they might be different types or are familiar with them?
