I have a 4 ft deep koi pond. Anyone have advice or info on underwater pond cameras for live-streaming? The few posts I see seem older and reference a very difficult set up from an IT perspective

Thanks for response. Doesn’t sound like you have been very satisfied. Did you purchase Barlus cameras? This seems to be the main brand I have found, but a lot of people complain of IT support

You all KNOW I love my underwater camera. The camera quality is amazing (from a hardware perspective), picture quality is great, ease of use leaves MUCH to be desired. My son is the tech guru in my life and he had it up and running in a matter of minutes, but it is hardwired directly into my TV. No clue how it would work otherwise.

In this day and age of cameras EVERYWHERE I'm shocked that there aren't multiple competitors to the Barlus camera.

But no regrets getting this camera, in spite of the tech deficiencies... how else would I ever see this:

I have the Barlus. Great to view the fish under the water. But has been a struggle. 1st camera died after (2) months. Contacted Barlus, and sent a 2nd one after lots of back and forth. The 2nd one would not connect to the wifi network. Took a lot of back and forth (again) to their support. Much time consumption in the process. Sent me a 3rd camera and has been working well for the past (3) months, but not without complications. For some reason, i'm unable to record a video (and save) the images. Gave up trying to deal with the support, and just glad to see the Koi. Looking forward to viewing them under the ice this winter. End result. Think a decent camera, but software and wifi connections really are lacking. Hope may provide some guidance with Barlus.
