We had visitor to the pond today... clumsiest bear ever! It was probably a 2 year old.

When he paused and looks up, before bolting into the back-yard is when my wife opened the window and yelled "get outta my pond!"

He hung around the back for 1/2 an hour drinking water from the frog pond and eating apples right off the tree.

I would not want to see a bear here, did see one once, years ago in a far field. They would go right after our hives make a horrible mess.

Looked like the little one had fun!

I love it!! The only somewhat big wildlife in my area is a fox. And not counting the deer.

How cool is that! He was afraid of you and that's good for him. Someone else might do more than yell at him. He just wanted a drink.

We haven't had a bear visit in a few years... when we had pear trees, they would come all the time to get the fruit. We also have to keep on top of picking up the wind falls or that would attract them.

This is a picture from the window my wife took before she scolded it to "go away"...

I'm surprised and happy my rock work stood up to this guy, he's got to be 250-350 lbs! And the waterfall shelves didn't give, that would have been a nightmare to rebuild...
